Basic operation
HDMI cable is recommended for personal use only
There is an HDMI backup cable at the table center, next to the microphone. This is recommended only for using the large monitor for personal work. Do not use your personal computer to host a Zoom meeting. See Launch a Zoom Meeting for details.
Power up the display system
Press the 'Power' button.
Select OBS as an input
Press the display input button on the white remote. Select 'OBS' on the monitor. Then push the 'Enter' button.
Let the system boot if needed. It might take a minute.
Activate the keyboard and mouse
Turn on the keyboard and the mouse.
Log out the previous user if needed
If someone else is logged in, log them out.
Log in to the conference room system with your Cornell ID
Log in with your Cornell credentials. After log in, files you save in your profile are always available.
When you are done
Log out of the system so it is ready for the next person.
Files and presentations
Log in to the conference room system with your Cornell ID.
Load your files and presentations with a USB drive
Put your desired files on a USB drive.
Insert the USB drive into the USB port to the bottom left of the monitor.
Copy your files to a location of interest.
Safely eject your USB drive
Click the carat icon in the bottom right, and then the USB icon. Click and select "Safely remove".
When the message appears that you can safely remove your device, remove the USD drive.
Launch a Zoom meeting
Log in to the conference room system with your Cornell ID.
Log into the Cornell Zoom platform
Go to https://cornell.zoom.us/signin and log into the Cornell Zoom platform.
Open the local Zoom app
Launch the Zoom app from your conference room profile.
Start your meeting
Interact with your zoom meeting as you normally would, either as a participant or as a host.
When you are done
Log out of the conference room system.
Use the webcams
Log in to the conference room system with your Cornell ID.
Select your primary camera
In zoom, choose which camera to capture video from.
When you are done
Log out of the conference room system.
Microphone
Basic operation
The microphone system automatically connects to a Zoom meeting at launch.
Adjust the microphone input volume
The microphone input volume and mute functions are adjusted directly in the Zoom meeting settings.
