Sometimes it is necessary to clear your browser cache of cookies and other data stored locally for newa.cornell.edu. This is usually needed after an important website update or when a coding bug or error is fixed, or when an update is made to one or more NEWA 3.0 resources. Follow these directions to safely remove NEWA information without erasing other important data from your browser.
Chrome

Open Chrome and navigate to https://newa.cornell.edu. Log out of your NEWA profile account, if you haven't done so already.
Click the lock icon to the left of the internet address bar and select 'Site Settings' from the dropdown.
Select 'Clear Data' to the right of the 'Site Settings' page.
Close the 'Settings' page and return to https://newa.cornell.edu.
Log back in to your NEWA user profile account. All settings should now be up-to-date.

Open Edge and navigate to https://newa.cornell.edu. Log out of your NEWA profile account, if you haven't done so already.
Click the lock icon next to the website address box (1). Choose 'Cookies' from the dropdown (2). Highlight the first web address containing 'cornell.edu' (3). Click 'Remove' (4). Repeat (3) and (4) until no 'cornell.edu' web addresses remain. Click 'Done' to close the popup window (5). Log back in and settings will be current.

NOTE. Edge for Android will delete cached data for ALL websites.
Open Edge and navigate to https://newa.cornell.edu. Log out of your NEWA profile account, if you haven't done so already.
Click the three horizontal dots in the menu bar below the main screen (1). Click the 'Settings' gear icon in the popup (2). Choose 'Privacy and Security (3). Select 'Clear browsing data' in the 'Privacy' menu (4). Click the 'Clear Data' button to empty the browser cache (5). Login again and all settings will be current.

Click the lock icon and choose 'Clear cookies and site data...' from the dropdown (1). Select all 'cornell.edu' addresses in the dialogue box and click 'Remove' (2). Log back in and settings will be current.

Click the vertical dots in the lower right corner of your browser (1). Choose 'Settings' from the popup menu (2). Select 'Delete browsing data' from the list (3). Click the 'Delete Browsing Data' button (4). Log back in to your NEWA user profile account. Log back in and settings will be current.
